What time is Breakfast? Lunch? Dinner?
The Beachcomber Cafe:
Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Lunch is served from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Dinner is served from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Malibu Pier Club Cocktails:
Everyday 7:30 AM to 11 PM

How long has the Malibu Pier Restaurants been open?
The Malibu Pier Club Opened on April 2, 2008.
The Beachcomber Cafe Opened on July 7, 2008.
 

Is there parking?
The parking lot for the Malibu Pier is located directly south of the pier and offeres only valet service.  

Parking is $4.00 for 2 hours and 40 minutes with validation for dinner dining and 2 hours and 20 minutes with validation for breakfast and lunch dining at the Beachcomber, Malibu Pier Club, or Ruby's Shake Shack. $10.00 deposit ($14.00 on weekends) required to park in the lot.   

Can I make a reservation?
YES - you may make a reservation through the restaurant by calling (310) 456-9800 and pressing extension #3 or by reserving on-line at Opentable.com.   

Is the Malibu Pier Club open to the public or do I have to join?
The Malibu Pier Club is the name of the bar located at the base of the pier.  It is not an actual club, but a period looking bar from the late 1940's named after a restaurant that was located at the pier during that same time period.  It is a must see with its original photos, Malibu tile murals and the Tonga Lei Room which is available for small private parties and groups (Please contact the General manager to make your reservations!).

Can we reserve the patio for large groups?
Yes, The Beachcomber and Malibu Pier Club offer several options to hold a private party on several of the Malibu Pier decks located at the base, neck and end of the pier.  We also have a spectacular private dining room called the Surfrider Dining Room (coming soon) which offers a 360 degree view of the coast and famous Surfrider Beach. Our catering department is eager to help plan a special event at one of the event sites. Please call (949) 644-8759 for more information.

What is the corkage fee?
$15.00 per bottle, bottle must be unopened prior to arrival at The Beachcomber.

Is The Beachcomber open year round?
YES! The Beachcomber is a great place to visit in any season! However, we are closed on Thanksgiving Day, at 3:00 PM on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We are OPEN on New Year’s Day for those who would like to celebrate the New Year with us!

Do you have another Beachcomber?
The Beachcomber at Crystal Cove is the flagship restaurant.  The second location at the Malibu Pier is now open.  The Malibu Pier Club Cocktails, our second restaurant on the pier is wonderful place to enjoy a cocktail, appetizer or light meal and enjoy the view!  Check back for updates and information on this website! 

Can we take our dog on your patio?
Dogs are not allowed at the restaurant with the exception of Service Animals which are defined as any animal that provides a medical service for any individual with a disability. A Service Animal is NOT a pet.

Do you take Ruby’s Coupons?
The Beachcomber is separate from Ruby’s and we are unable to accept any coupons, gift cards, or special offers from Ruby’s. Thank you!

Do you have gift cards?
YES, purchase yours in time for the holidays at The Beachcomber and on the website under "GIFT CARDS."

Does your restaurant have vegetarian options?
Yes, The Beachcomber offers vegetarian and vegan friendly menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner!  Please see the “MENU” section of the website for a complete menu.
